There are many medications that are prescribed to treat arthritis, but it is also possible to get the symptoms and the condition under control with a few simple natural remedies.

1) Raw potato juice therapy is considered one of the best natural remedies for treating arthritis. To make potato juice, cut a potato with its skin into thin slices. Place these slices in a glass of cold water and leave it overnight. Drink the water in the morning on an empty stomach.
Other raw juices are also beneficial in the treatment of arthritic conditions. Freshly squeezed pineapple juice helps to reduce the swelling and inflammation. 1 cup of green juice (you can juice any leafy green vegetable of your choice), mixed in equal quantities with celery, carrot and red beet juices is beneficial in treating arthritis. The alkaline properties of the raw juices help to dissolve the deposits that have accumulated around the joints and thus relieve some of the pain.

2)Wearing a copper bracelet is also said to help with arthritis. It works to strengthen the muscles around the affected joints and helps mobility.

3)Garlic is a natural anti-inflammatory and as such is effective for treating the swelling associated with arthritis. You can consume the garlic raw or cooked, whatever your individual preference is.

4)Bananas are rich in Vitamin B6 and are helpful in treating this condition. Some people have reported feeling much relief from the symptoms when embarking on a diet consisting of just bananas for a few days. Include bananas in your diet on a regular basis to experience relief from stiff joints.

5)Soak a teaspoon of black sesame seeds in ¼ cup of water overnight. Drink the water with the seeds in the morning to prevent pain in the joints


6)Calcium has been found to be an effective treatment for arthritis. 2 teaspoons of calcium lactate mixed in a glass of water and taken before meals over a period of at least 4 months has been shown to be extremely effective in warding off joint pains
